#330responds Week of Appreciation – 4/29-5/3

Thanking those responding to the opiate epidemic

The County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board is recognizing frontline workers and first responders during a week of appreciation, April 29th – May 3rd. The ADM Board encourages all citizens of Summit County to find a way to show gratitude to their local safety forces and those that work in the medical and counseling fields during this week. Their hard work helps people struggling with opiate addiction get life-saving help when they need it the most.

Show your appreciation by writing letters to the editor, sending thank you notes to local agencies and police/fire stations, and doing other acts of kindness. Share their messages online using the hashtag #330responds and follow along as we thank our local heroes!

Additionally, the ADM Board and Summit County Opiate and Addiction Task Force are hosting a night of appreciation at Canal Park on Friday, May 3rd! First responders and frontline workers are eligible to receive 2 free tickets to the game (while supplies last)! Additional tickets are available for $8 a piece. Bring friends and family out for a game under the lights and stay for Justin Timberlake fireworks!
