Saturday, May 19th at IBH Addiction Recovery Center

Area runners and walkers are invited to participate in the sixth annual ADM Recovery Challenge 5K. The race involves running/walking and obstacles that are metaphoric to the challenging path recovery can be for those fighting addiction and mental illness. All this takes place on the scenic grounds of IBH Addiction Recovery Center, 3445 S. Main Street, Akron.  The race begins at 9 a.m.      

The event is $30 per person for ages 12+, $25 for virtual runners, and $20 for participants ages 12 and under.  Same day registration increases by $5. Cash prizes will be given out to the top three runners along with prizes for each age group. Register online

Proceeds will benefit the Summit County ADM Support Committee, Inc., in its future educational and levy campaign activities on behalf of the County of Summit ADM Board. The ADM Board contracts with a network of healthcare organizations providing treatment and supportive services for over 26,000 people per year recovering from addiction and mental illness.
