“Mr. Ferguson brings his real-world experience with alcohol substance abuse and treatment as well as his advocacy for vulnerable populations to his Board service,” said Dr. Todd M. Ivan, ADM Board of Directors Chair. “We are pleased to welcome him to the ADM Board.”
Regarding his joining the Board, Mr. Ferguson said, “As a pharmacist, I have witnessed people who suffer from addiction and mental health issues experience multiple barriers that prevent them from having a healthy life. I have seen those who need our help the most range from wanting support, not sure if they want support, or not wanting support at all, while experiencing biases from health care providers. I am eager to work with the ADM Board to provide services and opportunities to all populations in Summit County.”
Mr. Ferguson is an active member of the Summit County community. He is the creator of the “Ask a Pharmacist” program on the Radio Free Entertainment Network, which seeks to provide health care professionals in Northeast Ohio with another platform from which to provide clinical information and resources to the public. He is also the founder of IMONB, LLC, which provides low-income housing to residents in Summit and Stark Counties. Additionally, Mr. Ferguson is the founder of MarvLeads, LLC, providing consulting and training services to the Pharmacy, Process Improvement and DEI industries. He is also the father of a 14-year-old daughter and enjoys cooking and traveling. He resides in Akron.
