Alcohol-free Celebration for All Ages

Sober17, an alcohol-free St. Patrick’s Day event, will be held at the Akron Civic Theater on Tuesday, March 17th from 5 p.m. -9 p.m. The event will feature Irish culture including Irish clogging and music, Irish food and a variety of family-friendly activities.
Musician, singer Angie Haze will perform along with a Silent Disco from Rock and Recovery radio and KidJam radio. What is a silent disco? Come put some headphones on and dance along!
We will also have an Irish potato bar and other traditional eats., along with appetizers, soft drinks and alcohol-free specialty drinks.
Kids can dance the night away to KidJam and do Make-&-Take crafts. There will also be a scavenger hunt for adults and kids. A photo booth will capture the memories. Come dressed for fun! Prizes for the best Irish costumes will be given to those who show their Irish spirit.
Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, and under age 5 will be free. Tickets can be found at www.AkronCivic.com or purchased at the box office with no fees or over the phone for a $2.50 handling charge per ticket. See box office hours.
