Summit County Opiate and Addiction Task Force

Fighting Addiction In Summit County

History

In February of 2014, the County of Summit ADM Board convened the Summit County Opiate Task Force (now the Summit County Opiate & Addiction Task Force), a group of key individuals and organizations committed to reducing the tragic consequences of opiate abuse in Summit County through education, collaboration, advocacy, and the wise use of available resources.

As an increasing public health problem, the opiate/heroin epidemic has resulted in a dramatic rise in accidental deaths and immeasurable heartache. Working together, we all can play a role in helping to end this lethal epidemic.

Join the Fight

The Summit County Opiate & Addiction Task Force invites businesses, agencies, non-profits, government entities, individuals, grass roots organizations, and families to join in the fight against addiction.

The task force meets to assess the impact to the community of opiate and other drug addiction and to bring solutions to save lives in the struggle.
