ADM Recovery Challenge Celebrates 9th Year

Running and walking helps many to recover physically, mentally and spiritually. The ADM Recovery Challenge 5K and 1 Mile encourages runners and walkers of all paces to come out and  support behavioral health services in Summit County.

The 9th annual ADM Recovery Challenge 5K Race and 1 Mile Walk will take place on Saturday, June 4th at IBH Addiction Recovery in Akron. The race has been challenging runners and walkers for the past 8 years with obstacles that represent the challenges that people face when they are recovering from addiction and mental illness. 

Registration is open for the following categories:

• 5K – 13 years old and up
• 5K – 12 years old and under
• 1 Mile – 6 year and over
• 1 Mile – 5 years and under (Free!)

IBH Addiction Recovery has hosted the race for all 9 years on their beautiful grounds that are used for outpatient programs, treatment, and residential housing, with many other services and programs to help people in recovery.
