Summit County ADM Board Awarded Culture of Quality Certification
July 1, 2025
The County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADM) Board was recently awarded a three-year Culture of Quality Peer Certification from the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities (OACBHA). This is the ADM Board’s fifth renewal, demonstrating excellence and ADMAH Board overall governance and operations.
According to OACBHA, “The Culture of Quality program has been developed by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities and its member Boards to improve the quality of the statutorily mandated functions of county Boards administering local alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services for Ohioans. The Culture of Quality is designed to promote community confidence and Boards’ public support through increased accountability. The Culture of Quality brings consistency to the local Board system through self-regulation while preserving flexibility for Boards to be responsive to the needs of their respective constituencies.”
OACBHA’s peer review reported that the County of Summit ADM Board, “Embodies the very essence of the Culture of Quality, by demonstrating quality, accountability and responsiveness to the needs of the community.” No changes or improvements were recommended.
Aimee Wade, the ADM Board’s Executive Director, “The ADM Board staff works diligently to prepare for this review every three years as it demonstrates to our community our adherence to best practices. The ADM Board’s Board of Directors and staff are proud of this achievement and look forward to our continued work on behalf of Summit County residents.”
