Wear Green Day Summit County is observed on the first Friday in May in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. The Summit County ADM Board invites residents, agencies, workplaces, schools, and community partners to wear green on May 1 as a visible sign of support for mental health. Wearing green helps reduce stigma, spark conversations, and remind our community that Support is Here in Summit County.

Participants are encouraged to take photos and share them on social media using #SupportisHere. Don’t forget to tag the ADM Board on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn! We want to see Summit County turn GREEN!
How to Participate
- Wear green on Friday, May 1

By participating in Wear Green Day, residents and organizations across Summit County can help reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health. Small actions, like wearing green or sharing a message online, can remind someone that they are not alone and that support is available.
